As a radio journalism graduate, former BBC World Service newsreader and sports commentator, I’ve been comfortable behind a microphone for a very long time.

If you’re looking for anything from a short voice clip to a radio advertisement to a narrator for an entire audiobook (see thumbnails), I’m game. Not to sing my own praises, but I've even voiced God himself!

I have my own microphone and mini-studio at home, and can also take care of basic editing (to Amazon ACX quality requirements, if it’s an audiobook) so that you get a completed product from one person. All I need is your script!

And what about my accent? Well, it's a neutral one as English goes. I grew up in South Africa but my mother was English and I spent several years living middle-class life in the Home Counties. There was also an early kindergarten interlude in the USA and a working holiday in Australia, which means I give you safe, middle-of-the-road English that never veers too far in the direction of any one accent.

When it comes to aping accents for narration purposes, I’ll back myself in New Zealand, Australian, South African, Scottish, Welsh and Northern Irish. (I don’t know why but Belfast comes easy and Dublin’s a disaster, but there you go.) My Geordie’s a work in progress...

If you've already recorded raw sound but don't know how to edit it and get it ready for publication, I can help with that too!
